ArtWalk Edmonton - www.art-walk.ca through the Paint Spot store, you can register to be one of hundreds enjoying the art scene at it's best in Edmonton. Runs in July each year along Whyte avenue, register early to get a good spot!
Calyx Distinctive Art - www.calyxart.com a Calgary based group which provides venues for artists in Calgary to show and sell their wares.

Gian Carlo Stoneworks - A great place to buy very different colored soapstone and other various stones in Surrey, BC. So reasonably priced even with shipping, the price is no worse than buying in Edmonton.

WildNorth - formerly Wildlife Rehabilitation Society of Edmonton - www.wildnorth.ca my favourite place to donate time and money. Our local wildlife medical and rehabilitation group which treats over 1000 patients every year. Their mandate is to release all patients back to the wild. Always looking for volunteers and donations to increase their services. Check them out!
